Music Ministries

Welcome

If you hang around long enough, you will soon discover that worship and music are very important to the life of this church. We are truly blessed to have a wonderful team of people that have a burning passion to not only experience the fire of God’s presence personally, but to also take others with them in that pursuit. That’s what the Worship and Music Ministry here is all about. If you are interested in becoming involved in this ministry I would like to invite you to take a moment to read this page and get to know a little bit more about us. If you would like to join our team, have any questions, or would just like to talk about worship, I would love to hear from you.

Our Purpose

  • To minister to the Lord
Our first priority is to minister to the Lord by offering up our praise and adoration to Him.
  • To lead others in worship
We firmly believe that whether you sing, play an instrument, or run sound, you are a worship leader. Our job is to lead His people in worship to Him, not showcase our talents.
  • To offer our talents to the Lord
The Worship & Music Ministries of Trinity Church exist to provide a way for others to use their God-given talents back to Him to minister to others.

Our calling

  • Humility and Brokenness
Understanding God’s view of who we are, and then allowing Him to mold us and change us. Character always comes before talent.
  • Intimacy and Power
Learning how to cultivate the Secret Place in our lives and drawing our strength from that relationship with God.
  • Integrity in Relationships
Growing together as “iron sharpens iron” in an atmosphere of love and unity.
  • Clean Hearts and Good Skills
Cultivating the heart of a worshipper with an attitude of excellence in music. Music that exalts God is music that is offered by people who are living to please Him.

Our Vision

  • To equip God’s people to develop a lifestyle of worship
Worship is not something we do, it is who we are! Our goal is to help others see worship as a way of life that starts long before they enter the doors of the sanctuary.
  • To build people, not a program
God is not looking for a certain kind of worship but a certain kind of worshipper – one who worships in spirit and in truth. While developing good musical skill is important, developing people of character is the goal. This is accomplished through weekly devotional time together as a team.
  • To experience the physical manifestation of God’s presence as we worship
We believe it is critical for everyone that comes through our doors to experience a personal, face-to-face encounter with the living God. Music is a powerful tool that not only opens human hearts but also ushers in the presence of God to touch those hearts, bring healing and set people free from sin and bondage.
  • To develop worship leaders
Our goal is to provide worship leaders, singers, instrumentalists and technicians with hands-on experience, musical training, strong theological foundations, worship leadership skills, and discipleship. We want people with a burning desire and dedication for worship to add character development and Spirit-led living to their gifts.
